Neela-ra is a cold hearted, and a merciless killer. When she was a child, she was one of the many street rats of Narshaddaa. Both her parents were killed by a gang who Neela-ra's parent's owed money to. So she became another orphan, wandering the streets, dreaming of the day she would get off the planet and starting over. One day, when she was scrounging around the docks, she noticed one of the ships loading ramp was open. So, she decided to sneak aboard and wait until the ship was far away from Nar shaddaa to reveal herself. Little did she know that she stowed away in the ship of one of the galaxies notorious bounty hunters, Chaffic. Once he found Neela-ra, he tried to throw her out, but she refused to leave. She begged and pleaded to stay, offering to be his servant if she had to in order to leave the planet. Eventually, Chaffic decided to let her stay, in exchange, she had to become his pupil and learn to become a mercenary-which she accepted. And true to his word, he took her with him an gave her the nickname Womprat. Over the years, Chaffics intensive training turned little Neela-ra into a ruthless warrior just like him. She learned everything he taught her, from shooting and sniping, hacking and sabotage, to hand to hand and weapon combat. She's even learned how to keep the ship and gear maintained. But no matter how good he got, Chaffic still called her Womprat. Near the end of the clone wars, Chaffic died, leaving Neela-ra to inherit everything and becoming the new Chaffic.
